5 Signs It’s Time to Break Up with Your Cougar

Mature dating can be a real thrill ride — with lots of excitement, surprises and new experiences. However, by their very nature, these relationships often have a relatively short lifespan.

What's the point of staying together if sex has become boring?

Once the passion and lust has subsided, both parties often feel like it’s time to move on. But how do you know it’s time to call it a day?

If you’re a milfaholic who likes to play the field, you need to know when it’s time to move on to your next conquest. If you recognise any of these issues in your relationship, that time may have already arrived.

1. You’re not returning her calls as soon as possible

Those early days of milf dating are often filled with lust and lots of sex. For a younger guy, the experience of satisfying an older, more experienced woman is electrifying, but that feeling only lasts so long. Like many sexual relationships that don’t have any other pillars, things will eventually become a little stale and boring.

If you’re finding that you’re putting off returning your cougar’s calls, it’s probably time to call it a day. When things are electric, you probably answer your phone on the first ring; and if you can’t you can barely wait to call back. But if that sense of urgency is gone, maybe it’s time to start looking for your next milf.

2. You’re prioritising your friends

Dating someone much older than you can often mean shared interests are very limited. Of course, this doesn’t really matter when there’s hot sex to be enjoyed. But when passions start to fade, that shortage of common interests can prove to be a major issue.

Would you prefer a boozy night out with friends over a night of passion with your cougar? Do you wish you were with your mates during the throes of sexual ecstasy with your milf? If you can answer “yes” to either of these questions, it could be time for a parting of the ways.

Pro tip: Agree with your cougar that you’ll both spend a full week apart, and use that time to do more with your friends. If you start missing your milf, you’ll know that your relationship still has legs.

3. The sex has become monotonous

If you and your cougar are together for the physical aspects of a relationship, things can get a little tense when the sex starts to become boring. Your erotic encounters should be full of passion and adventure, and most importantly, they should be lots of fun. If you don’t have other common interests to fall back on, what’s the point of staying together?

Can you take or leave sex sessions with your cougar? Do you fantasise about being with other women when you’re having sex? Have you found yourself saying “no” to offers of sex? If you can answer “yes” to any of these questions, your relationship could be reaching its natural conclusion.

4. You aren’t on the same sexual wavelength

Cougars and milfs often have some very particular sexual needs and desires — which is usually part of their appeal to younger guys. You may have tried these scenarios with her for the first time in order to broaden your sexual horizons. But what happens if you’re just not into them? Where does your relationship go from there?

While you might have tried role-play, group sex or another exciting sexual activity for the first time, you may not have particularly enjoyed it.

Similarly, your cougar may not be as adventurous as you’d hoped for. If you’re both struggling to satisfy one another — and there’s nothing else keeping you together — it could be time to pull the plug on the relationship.

5. Your friends and family are expressing concern

If you’re completely happy in your relationship with your cougar, nothing anyone says should stop you from being involved with her. However, if you’re having a few doubts, it could be time to seek the advice of family and friends.

Sometimes, a fresh perspective on your relationship can help you to think more clearly. Ask for the opinions of those closest to you. Are you suited to one another? Is she the right woman for you? Do your friends and family get on with her? Asking for the opinion of others should help you to focus on what is right and wrong about your relationship.

Dating a cougar can be an exciting adventure, but when things turn lukewarm, it could be time to move on.
